Kaden Lopez, 18, was arrested at the Mercury-Suns matchup on Tuesday, Aug. 5 for throwing a sex toy during the game, marking the fifth-known time a sex toy was thrown at a WNBA game this season.

An 18-year-old was arrested for their alleged involvement in the latest in a string of incidents involving fans at WNBA games launching brightly colored sex toys toward the court.

Lopez was reportedly detained by Phoenix police inside PHX Arena after allegedly hitting another fan and his 9-year-old niece with a green sex toy. Lopez appeared in court Wednesday after he was booked on suspicion of disorderly conduct, assault and public display of explicit sexual material.
